About Me

Hello, my name is Mariah Hipolito, and I am honored and excited to announce that I am running for School Board. While stepping into this role is outside of my comfort zone, my heart is fully in it. As a mother of two boys in PISD, one in sixth grade at Plainview Intermediate and the other in second grade at Plainview Central Elementary, I care deeply about the future of our schools and the students they serve.

My husband and I are both proud graduates of Plainview High School, and this community means everything to our family. I'm the daughter of Oscar and Sylvia Chavez, who both served and continue to serve our community. Their example of service, dedication, and integrity has shaped who I am today. With a heart for our children and a passion for strong values, I believe in putting students first, supporting our teachers, and ensuring parents have a strong voice in their children’s education. Guided by faith, integrity, and a deep love for Plainview, I am ready to serve and help build a brighter future for our schools. I would be honored to have your support.
